You can read all of it without telling us who you are, and there is no form, no account and no newsletter to sign up for.

What happens when you read an article
Our hosting provider records the usual server log: the page requested, the time, your IP address, and which browser you use. That log exists to keep the site running and to spot abuse, and it is not used to build a profile of you.
If you agree to it, we also measure which articles are read, with Google Analytics. Decline, and no measurement cookie is placed at all.
Alongside that we use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which counts page views without placing any cookie and without storing anything on your device. It tells us that an article was read, not who read it.
The distributor readiness check
The readiness check is a short conversation: it asks a question, you type an answer, and at the end you get an assessment of how ready your company is to work with distributors.
What you type is sent to OpenAI, which supplies the language model behind it. We use their business interface, under which your input is not used to train their models and is deleted on their side after at most 30 days. The conversation is also stored on our own server, so the assessment can be finished and looked at again.
We do not ask for your name, your e-mail address or your company name anywhere in that conversation, and we would rather not receive them. Describing your situation is enough — please leave out anything you would not want to leave your company.
Cookies
The first time you visit, we ask whether we may place cookies. Your answer is kept in one cookie for six months, and you can change it at any time through the link at the bottom of every page.
- Necessary — remembering your cookie choice and, if you switch languages, which language you chose. Always on.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4, to see which articles are read. Aggregated, never used to single you out.
- Marketing — only if you allow it: measuring which advertisement led to a visit, and showing you a relevant advertisement elsewhere.
When you make a choice, we store that fact: the date, what you chose, the page you were on, and a one-way hash that lets us prove a choice was made without keeping your IP address. That is our proof that we asked, which the law requires us to have.
Why we are allowed to do this
Keeping the site running, writing the logs and counting page views without cookies rests on our legitimate interest in a working, readable site. The measurement cookies and anything for advertising happen only with your consent, which you can withdraw whenever you like. The readiness check runs because you asked it to, and we keep the conversation to be able to show you the outcome again.

Who else gets to see it
We do not sell your data and we do not hand it to anyone for their own marketing. Three suppliers are involved in what is described above, and we have a data processing agreement with each: VDX, our hosting provider in the Netherlands; OpenAI, for the readiness check; and Google and Ahrefs, for the measurement. Some of them are based outside the European Union; those transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, supplemented by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the supplier is certified under it.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, have the processing restricted, receive it in a portable file, and object to its use. Any consent you gave can be withdrawn. One e-mail to alfred@allianceexperts.com is enough, and we answer within one month. We will never ask you to send a copy of your passport or ID to prove who you are.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, Postbus 93374, 2509 AJ The Hague, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or to the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live.
Changes
If the way we handle your data changes, we will update this statement. This version is from 27 September 2026.
